Shaman Project: Hour 1

I'm going to combine a Native American Shaman with my tree and create a scene to create a story moment.  I'm thinking a shaman of a desparate tribal people has come to a holy tree of life and death in order to implore the spirits for salvation.

Goals for the character are:

To appear Old, Thin, and Native American.

A feeling of desparation in his form and pose.

Giving a sense of the otherworldly, or a connection to a mysterous spiritual power.

Costume, clothing, and props that support the story.

Any suggestions are welcome.
